Black Men in Action Against Colorectal Cancer
This campaign wasn’t bought—it was built. With zero budget and 100% heart, we united local leaders to spark life-saving conversations and shift the narrative around colorectal cancer.

CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW
Providence Swedish North’s “Black Men in Action Against Colorectal Cancer” campaign was a powerful community-driven initiative launched during Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month to address health disparities among African American men in Snohomish County. By partnering with respected local leaders and amplifying their voices across social media, podcasts, and public events, the campaign fostered trust, encouraged early screenings, and sparked meaningful conversations about prevention. Its culturally resonant messaging and authentic storytelling led to increased engagement, media coverage, and a strengthened connection between the healthcare system and the community it serves.
